By accessing the Website, submitting a form, scheduling a call or consultation, purchasing or using a service, or otherwise interacting with Light & Leaf Wellness, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or our services.

NATURE OF SERVICES

Light & Leaf Wellness provides general wellness education, lifestyle guidance, and supportive services intended to help clients make more informed and intentional wellness choices.

Services may include educational discussions concerning nutrition, hydration, vitamins and minerals, herbs, essential oils, sleep routines, stress management, breathwork, grounding, sound therapy, energy-based practices, and other general wellness topics.

Laura Gandarillas is a naturopathic practitioner and sound therapist. She is not a licensed physician, nurse, dietitian, psychologist, psychotherapist, pharmacist, or other licensed medical provider unless expressly stated otherwise.

Light & Leaf Wellness is not a medical practice. Our services are educational and supportive in nature and are not intended to establish a physician-patient or other licensed healthcare-provider relationship.

MEDICAL AND EMERGENCY DISCLAIMER

The Website, blog, social media content, consultations, clarity calls, downloadable resources, videos, podcast content, emails, and other communications from Light & Leaf Wellness are provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for your own health, wellness, and personal decisions. Participation in a consultation or other service does not transfer responsibility for those decisions to Light & Leaf Wellness.

You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and current to the best of your knowledge. This may include information about your wellness concerns, health history, allergies, medications, supplements, lifestyle, or recommendations received from licensed healthcare providers.

You are responsible for informing Light & Leaf Wellness of any material changes that could affect the relevance or safety of educational guidance previously discussed.

You agree to consult an appropriate licensed healthcare professional before implementing recommendations that could affect a medical condition, medication, treatment plan, pregnancy, surgery, allergy, or other health concern.

You should not discontinue, replace, reduce, or otherwise alter prescribed medication or medical treatment based solely on information from Light & Leaf Wellness.

You are free to accept, decline, or discontinue any educational suggestion. You assume responsibility for deciding whether and how to use the information provided.

VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS

Light & Leaf Wellness consultations and clarity calls are offered virtually. The specific video, telephone, or communication platform used may be identified during scheduling.

You are responsible for:
• Providing accurate contact and scheduling information
• Having a suitable device and stable internet or telephone connection
• Joining the appointment at the scheduled time
• Selecting a quiet and reasonably private location
• Ensuring that your technology works before the appointment
• Protecting the privacy of your surroundings and device
• Informing us if another person will be present during the session

Although we take reasonable steps to select appropriate technology, no electronic communication platform is completely private, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free. Technical problems, internet disruptions, platform outages, or circumstances outside our control may affect an appointment.

If a significant technical problem prevents a consultation from being completed, Light & Leaf Wellness will determine whether the appointment should be continued through another available method or rescheduled.

SCHEDULING, PAYMENTS, AND CANCELLATIONS

Appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until the applicable scheduling and payment requirements have been completed.

Payment is due before the scheduled appointment unless Light & Leaf Wellness agrees otherwise in writing. Payment may be requested through Venmo or another approved payment method.

Clients should follow any payment instructions provided during the booking process. Please do not include medical details, sensitive wellness information, or unnecessary personal information in a payment note.

Cancellations and requests to reschedule must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. A cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $25 cancellation fee.

A missed appointment or a significantly late arrival may be charged in full. Arriving late does not guarantee that the appointment can be extended beyond its scheduled ending time.

Detailed fees, cancellation rules, rescheduling terms, and related appointment requirements are provided on our Consultation Fees & Policies page. By booking a service, you agree to review and follow those policies.

If these Terms directly conflict with a specific written payment, cancellation, or refund policy presented at booking, the more specific policy will apply to that transaction.

EDUCATIONAL CONTENT AND NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

Wellness is personal, and individual experiences vary. Information or guidance that may be helpful for one person may not be appropriate or effective for another.

Light & Leaf Wellness does not promise or guarantee any particular physical, emotional, financial, lifestyle, or wellness outcome. Results may be influenced by many factors outside our control, including individual health history, consistency, lifestyle, environment, medical care, and personal choices.

Any examples, stories, case descriptions, testimonials, or statements about possible benefits are provided for illustration and do not guarantee that you will experience the same or similar results.

Information provided through the Website or our services is based on sources and perspectives believed to be useful at the time.
